Many of our clients are told there is a psychological element to their pain, which is often interpreted as ‘no one believes my pain’ or ‘pain is all in my head’.  In this one hour session, we’ll dive in to the ‘psycho’ part of the biopsychosocial model, and you will

• learn how to communicate the ‘psychology of pain’ to your clients (without them feeling disbelieved or invalidated)
• understand how trauma can turn up the pain dial (and easy ways to share this with your clients)
• introduce a simple model you can use to map out pain, difficult emotions and behaviours with your clients – and help them see exactly where they can start helping themselves.
